You will see from all these comparisons between stories with fairly similar stats and lengths and genres but with massive differences in earnings, the general trend I've experienced throughout the month of October. As echoed in the comments of your update, many other writers are experiencing the same thing. This is why it is upsetting to hear Medium continually repeat that this problem has been fixed in the first week of October. It is also upsetting to hear that many writers have seen their earnings increase during this time. The question is why?
None of us have changed our genre or style from before the alleged fraud incident, so what changed?
Why are some accounts taking longer than others to return to the August pay rate?
Will we be getting reimbursed for all of the days in October that we experienced a 90% pay reduction?
Or will the reimbursement only be from Sept 25 to early Oct?
If you could answer these questions here or in your email to me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
